Event study plots are the centerpiece of Difference-in-Differences (DiD) analysis, but current plotting methods cannot provide honest causal inference when the parallel trends and/or no-anticipation assumption fails. We introduce a novel functional data approach to DiD that directly enables honest causal inference via event study plots.

Vibe code with your voice

Vibe code by voice. Wispr Flow lets you dictate prompts, PRDs, bug reproductions, and code review notes directly in Cursor, Warp, or your editor of choice. Speak instructions and Flow will auto-tag file names, preserve variable names and inline identifiers, and format lists and steps for immediate pasting into GitHub, Jira, or Docs. That means less retyping, fewer copy and paste errors, and faster triage. Use voice to dictate prompts and directions inside Cursor or Warp and get developer-ready text with file name recognition and variable recognition built in. For deeper context and examples, see our Vibe Coding article on wisprflow.ai. Try Wispr Flow for engineers.

Web browsers are no longer just tools for opening websites. In 2026, AI-powered browsers are becoming intelligent workspaces that search, summarize, automate, and even think alongside users. From built-in assistants to task automation and contextual understanding, AI browsers are redefining how we interact with the internet.

Claude no longer struggles to remember small steps, but larger projects break when work spans sessions, agents, and context windows. Tasks fix that by moving project state out of prompts and into durable, shared files. Opus 4.5 handles short plans internally and runs autonomously for longer. That makes Todos redundant for small work and insufficient for large work. Anthropic responds by introducing Tasks as a coordination layer for multi-step projects.

Google DeepMind introduces D4RT, a model built to answer a hard perception problem: how do you recover a moving 3D world from flat video? Humans do this automatically. Machines usually need several models stitched together, each slow and fragile. D4RT replaces that pipeline with a single model that understands space and time together and runs far faster than earlier systems.

Qwen just open-sources Qwen3-TTS, a full text-to-speech model family that handles voice design, voice cloning, and instruction-controlled speech generation. Until now, these capabilities usually lived behind closed APIs. Qwen releases the full stack, models, tokenizer, code, and paper, so you can run, inspect, and fine-tune everything yourself.

Most of us are not marathon runners or Crossfitters, yet many hydration drinks are made with excess sodium designed for these intense athletes.  Surprisingly, an estimated 75 percent of Americans are chronically dehydrated*. This can stem from many reasons, like simply not drinking enough water, or from taking certain medications…

Native Hydrate  offers a solution with clean ingredients, zero sugar, essential minerals (vital to key bodily functions), all 9 essential amino acids (for muscle support, recovery, and focus), and high bioavailability.

The tech giant just announced that free, full-length SAT practice exams are coming to Gemini, thanks to a partnership with The Princeton Review. To get started, just say "I want to take a practice SAT test” in Gemini.

Meta Superintelligence Labs, Meta’s new AI lab, has delivered its first high-profile AI models internally this month. According to the company’s CTO at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the models built by the team, which was formed last year, showed a lot of promise.

Well, that’s a tough hit for Tesla drivers. The company has discontinued Autopilot, its basic driver-assistance system, in an effort to boost adoption of its Full Self-Driving (Supervised) feature, a more advanced version of the technology. The move comes after the company faces a 30-day suspension of its manufacturing and dealer licenses in California over deceptive marketing, as well as its move to offer FSD as a monthly subscription.

Gemini Launches Full-Length SAT Practice Tests — Here’s How to Try Them

This week, the company announced that students can access “full-length, on-demand practice exams” directly in the chatbot for free.

The SAT practice tests are developed in partnership with The Princeton Review and follow the exact format of the digital SAT, including two Reading and Writing modules and two Math modules.

To start a test, you simply tell the app: “I want to take a practice SAT test.”

Gemini will provide you with a free practice exam. Then, it will analyze your results, highlighting your strengths and identifying areas that need further review. You can also ask Gemini for detailed explanations of any incorrect answers.

The SAT is the most widely used test in U.S. college admissions, but it’s not the only one. Google says it plans to support other tests in the future.
