AI News:
Meta has agreed to spend more than $10 billion on Google Cloud services over six years, according to reports. The deal centers on AI infrastructure, helping Meta train and scale its Llama models and integrate AI across its platforms. Meta already relies on Amazon and Microsoft for cloud support, but the size of its AI investments requires spreading demand across multiple providers.

As part of Elon Musk’s lawsuit against OpenAI (alleging it ditched its founding mission, just to secure funding), OpenAI has accused Meta of coordinating with Musk over his bid to acquire the start-up. Back in February, Musk attempted to acquire OpenAI for $97B, and in June, OpenAI's lawyers—believing Meta was financially involved—tried to issue a subpoena to secure the documents that would prove it.
