Anthropic has released Claude Haiku 5.5 with better coding and computer use skills. Haiku 5.5 is around 75% cheaper to run than Haiku 4.5 on average based on Anthropic’s estimates. Haiku 5.5 scored 72.4% in Anthropic’s computer use test, ahead of GPT-6 Luna at 48.9% and Haiku 4.5 at 15.7%. Haiku’s first adjustable effort setting lets developers give harder tasks more reasoning time and keep simpler requests cheaper.

OpenAI is bringing GPT-6 to free ChatGPT users alongside Intelligent UI, which adds interactive visuals and tools to your conversations. Intelligent UI can explain complex topics through interactive diagrams and charts that let you change inputs and see what happens. Someone just dropped a platform that lets you build and play your own games with zero coding required. It's called Playground, and the pitch is simple: if you can imagine a game, you can make it. Turns out Microsoft still wants to sell you hardware. At a San Francisco event Wednesday it priced the Surface Laptop Ultra, its first PC built on Nvidia's RTX Spark chip, from $2,600, with a beefier model at $3,700 and loaded configs hitting $5,900. There is also a $6,000 Surface RTX Spark Dev Box workstation. The top-end laptop is reportedly already out of stock.
Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan's science nonprofit, Biohub, just expanded its $500M Virtual Biology Initiative into a $1.8B effort with the U.S., DeepMind, and Meta, pushing to collect enough data to train AI that can simulate cells. Biohub's end goal is a “universal virtual cell,” AI software that predicts how cells will respond to a drug or other change before a lab test.
Turns out Finland still wants the paperwork filed first, Google. Finland's Licensing and Supervision Agency ordered the company's Finnish subsidiary to stop construction prep at two data center sites after it cleared forest and stripped topsoil before finishing the mandatory environmental impact assessments

Hover over one of the results and click the Try on button that appears.
Upload a selfie or a full-body photo to see how the clothing or accessory might look on you.
ChatGPT saves your reference photo for future try-ons. You can add, replace, or delete it at any time by going to Settings > Personalization > Reference photos.
Hover over an item and click the bookmark icon to add it to Favorites. Saved products are stored in the ChatGPT Library, so you can come back to them whenever you like.
