Anthropic has begun to roll out a new security feature for Claude Code that can scan a user's software codebase for vulnerabilities and suggest patches. The capability, called Claude Code Security, is currently available in a limited research preview to Enterprise and Team customers. "It scans codebases for security vulnerabilities and suggests targeted software patches for human review, allowing teams to find and fix security issues that traditional methods often miss.

The company just launched EVMbench, an adversarial security benchmark designed to test an agent's ability to exploit and patch smart contracts securing over $100 billion in crypto. Technical results show GPT-5.3-Codex hitting a 72.2% success rate in exploit mode, more than doubling its predecessor's performance. While the model is a potent offensive tool, OpenAI is committing $10 million in credits to defensive research and $7.5 million to The Alignment Project to curb safety risks from misaligned AI.

How to create Chrome extensions using Claude Opus 4.6
Log in to Claude and select Opus 4.6
Generate the code for the extension. Use the prompt below.
Sample prompt: "Develop an extension that [how your extension should work, its features and how you can use it]. Generate the complete code, organize all the files into a folder, and create a downloadable folder named [Name of extension]"
Download the files created by Claude.
Extract the zip file and open Chrome's extensions manager.
Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
Click "Load unpacked" and select your project folder.
Activate the extension.
