The harness eventually has to decide what to remove. A paper from researchers at Meta Superintelligence Labs introduces Context Language Models(CLM). The approach lets the model edit its live context instead of relying entirely on the harness’s compaction rules.

Install the ChatGPT Chrome extension and follow the setup instructions.
Open the tabs you want ChatGPT to work with in Chrome.
Open ChatGPT in the web or desktop app and tag Chrome in your prompt so it can use information from your open tabs.
OpenAI shared some sample queries you can try:
“Fill out the form I have open in @chrome ahead of seeing my new dentist. Also, can you add the appointment to my work and personal calendar.”
“@chrome Compare the three couches I have open by dimensions, material, delivery time, and return policy.”
