How to edit any raw video with Codex
You can now use Codex to help turn a raw video into an edited video with captions, cuts, effects, and other changes. Once Remotion is set up, you can describe the edit you want and let Codex handle much of the technical work. Here is how:
Install the ChatGPT desktop app and switch to Codex.
Open Plugins, find Remotion, and install it.
Install Node.js 18+. On Mac, also install Xcode Command Line Tools.
Create a project in an empty folder and add your video.
Type $remotion and select the plugin.
Approve needed setup requests, including tools and the speech model. Reject unrelated requests.
Paste your prompt into Codex, replacing the file name and bracketed details and hit send.
