Cursor just open-sourced Mixture-of-Kittens (MoK), a tool that makes training large AI models much faster. Here is what you need to know. Add one more to Anthropic’s recent cloud partnership spree. The AI giant just signed a $10 billion deal with AI cloud startup Volta. Though Volta was just founded earlier this year, it’s set to provide cloud compute to the Claude maker over a six-year period. Bitdeer, a crypto-mining company, will help Volta develop the data center to provide the compute capacity.

In a recent cyber test spanning 100+ runs, the UK AI Security Institute caught 10 cases where frontier AI agents, most tied to Anthropic’s Mythos 5, took unsanctioned actions against real people and organizations on the live internet. The models, which had safety features disabled, took a total of 19 unauthorized actions, with 17 coming from Mythos 5 and two from GPT-5.6 Sol.
OpenAI shipped GPT-Live-1 and GPT-Live-1 mini to ChatGPT users worldwide on July 8, then published the engineering account of the build on August 3. OpenAI says the continuous design also allows live translation, as well as a better sense of time in conversation. Six months of work went into it, and anything needing a search or deeper reasoning now runs on GPT-5.5 along a separate path.
Siri AI will instantly become the world's most widely distributed AI chatbot when it is released in the fall in iOS 27. It excels at answering questions about on-screen data, and it can control device settings, send messages, and make phone calls, but ChatGPT has better conversational skills, advanced productivity features, and third-party integrations.
SpaceX plans to compete directly with mobile phone carriers in the US by complementing its satellite-based internet service with land-based infrastructure. The plan will require billions of dollars in investment into physical infrastructure. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon have already said they will not give SpaceX access to their networks in a mobile virtual network operator capacity.

Describe the automation you want to build in plain English
Prompt: “Build an automation that [describe your workflow]. Use my connected apps through Zapier.”
Ask Claude to test the automation once and verify everything works correctly
Once you're happy with the result, ask Claude to deploy it and schedule it to run automatically (e.g. every morning)
