Google held its annual I/O developer event today to showcase some major Gemini updates in an effort to turn it into an all-purpose AI hub rather than a stand-alone chatbot. The AI app’s new features include a “Daily Brief” feature, a redesigned interface, access to a new AI video model called Gemini Omni, and a new personal AI agent called Gemini Spark.

The audio frames pair with Android or iOS phones, running Gemini for voice, navigation, messaging, photos with Nano Banana editing, and live translation.

Open Excel and click Add-ins in the Insert tab
Search ‘ChatGPT’ > ‘Add’ to open it in the sidebar
Click ‘Continue with ChatGPT’ > Login with your ChatGPT account
Upload your data (Excel, CSV, image, PDF or anything) and start prompting
Sample Prompt: “give me a formula to calculate the total sales in column C for values above 500.”
