Google just unveiled Gemini 4 Carbon, a new frontier model built for cybersecurity and long-running coding work that tops 15 of 17 benchmarks on Google’s charts, but isn’t yet public — with only select cyber defenders gaining access to start. Carbon’s 59 on Artificial Analysis’ “Intelligence Index” takes the top spot from Claude Opus 5.5 and improves 9 points over Google’s Argon from four weeks ago

Meta's latest AI experiment is basically a Tamagotchi that listens to you. Waddle World is live on iOS and Android in the Philippines, and lets you hatch a pixel pet, feed it and play mini-games. It also doubles as a journal, with the pet writing up your day in its own voice. Meta insists it's not a chatbot, with no streaks to protect.
China's AI stock boom has reversed sharply as investors question soaring valuations for chipmakers and robotics firms. China's AI- and chip-heavy STAR50 index has fallen 40% since July, wiping out roughly $480 billion in market value. Robot maker Unitree fell nearly 55% from its August listing before rebounding sharply, while chipmakers MetaX and Moore Threads have halved since July.
Anthropic is turning Claude into a legal workspace with ready-made tools for contract reviews, citation checks, and case management. Claude can flag contract clauses that break company rules, check legal citations for errors, and track upcoming regulatory changes. Legal teams can customize and share these tools using their own documents and over 60 legal integrations, including Bloomberg Law and Legora.
Nvidia's shopping spree just got a pop quiz from the DOJ. The Justice Department is reportedly asking whether the $12.9 billion Hugging Face purchase would hand Nvidia a key distribution point for AI models, and whether it could be used to squeeze rivals. Nvidia has pledged to keep the platform open, and inquiries don't always end in lawsuits.

Install Claude in Chrome and sign in.
Open Google Drive and choose a messy folder.
Open the Claude sidebar and paste this prompt: "Review this folder and suggest a folder structure based on my files. Flag possible duplicates and anything you can't identify. Show me the plan before moving anything. Don't delete anything."
Review Claude's plan and approve the changes.
Ask Claude to rename unclear files based on their contents. Review the new names before approving them.
That's it! Your files will be easier to find, and your folders will be better organised.
