You can now build interactive dashboards inside Slack just by describing what you want. Type a prompt into Slackbot, and it can turn your data into charts, reports, filters, and interactive dashboards without you having to write the code. Here is how to do it

  1. Open Slackbot inside Slack.

  2. Give it access to the information you want to analyse, such as Salesforce, Slack channels, connected MCP sources, or uploaded data.

  3. Type a normal prompt, for example: Create an interactive dashboard showing my sales pipeline by stage, deal value and risk.

  4. Slackbot searches the relevant data and creates a Surface.

  5. Open the Surface and interact with it. Depending on the dashboard, you can sort, filter, drill into information, and comment.
