Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang made a wave of announcements at GTC 2026, including an open-source NemoClaw for agents, next-gen Vera Rubin platform, DLSS 5 for photorealistic game graphics, and new enterprise and robotics tools. Well, that’s a new one. Encyclopedia Brittanica and Merriam-Webster have filed a lawsuit against OpenAI alleging that the AI giant has committed “massive copyright infringement.” Brittanica, which owns Merriam-Webster, retains the copyright to nearly 100k online articles which have been scraped and used to train OpenAI’s LLMs without permission.
Great news for video editors and vloggers: Apple has acquired MotionVFX, a company that develops plugins, templates, and advanced capabilities for Apple’s Final Cut Pro video editing software. By acquiring MotionVFX, Apple is looking to attract more subscribers to its Creator Studio bundle and better compete with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Speaking of Meta… the social media giant has signed a new five-year deal with Amsterdam-based Nebius Group to receive $12 billion of dedicated AI computing capacity across multiple locations by 2027. Under the deal, Meta will also buy an additional $15 billion worth of capacity planned by Nebius over the coming five years if it is not sold to other customers.

How to audit your Claude Code permissions

Every time you approve a command in Claude Code, it gets saved to your settings file. After weeks of use, you likely have a long list of auto-approved commands that you've stopped paying attention to.
One developer on Reddit found out the hard way how risky this can be. Claude ended up deleting their entire home directory because of a simple mistake in a command.
To prevent this, cc-safe scans your settings to flag commands that could delete files, run as admin, or give Claude too much access. Just run it on your projects folder:
npx cc-safe ~/projectsIt automatically checks every subfolder, covering all your projects with just one command. It's much better to run this now than to learn the hard way later.
