Agentic coding tools are redefining how developers write, test, refactor, and deploy software. Unlike traditional code assistants, agentic CLIs can plan tasks, modify multiple files, run commands, debug issues, and iteratively improve solutions with minimal human input — all directly from the terminal.

Learn how to make every AI investment count.

Successful AI transformation starts with deeply understanding your organization’s most critical use cases. We recommend this practical guide from You.com that walks through a proven framework to identify, prioritize, and document high-value AI opportunities.

In this AI Use Case Discovery Guide, you’ll learn how to:

  • Map internal workflows and customer journeys to pinpoint where AI can drive measurable ROI

  • Ask the right questions when it comes to AI use cases

  • Align cross-functional teams and stakeholders for a unified, scalable approach

Overture Map's publish a Places dataset along with each of their monthly releases. Places can be thought of as points of interest (POIs). As of January, they have over 72 million of these POIs covering the world. Below is an example from Viru Street in Tallinn, Estonia. Each point is labelled with its primary name and basic category in brackets. The point colour is based on the POI's basic category.

Do predictive models need to be causal? At first glance the response is something like “Of course not; are you high?”…If you have a model logP(Y=1)=α+βXX+βZZ then whether the model is usefully predictive has almost nothing to do with whether one of βX and βZ can be interpreted as the effect of its predictor on Y…

Python 3.14 introduced the compression.zstd module. It is a standard library implementation of Facebook’s Zstandard (Zstd) compression algorithm…Zstd caught my eye because it supports incremental compression. You can feed it data to compress in chunks, and it will maintain an internal state.

Chinese AI lab MiniMax launched M2.5, an open-source model that rivals Opus 4.6 and GPT-5 on agentic coding benchmarks — but at a fraction of the cost, making it cheap enough to power AI agents running around the clock. M2.5 shows especially strong coding performance, scoring roughly even with Opus 4.6 and GPT-5.2 across key development benchmarks.

This new ElevenLabs guide walks developers through the frameworks, structure, and evaluation methods that make conversational agents reliable, secure, and context-aware.

AI News:

OpenAI released GPT-5.3-Codex-Spark, a new speed-optimized coding model that runs on Cerebras hardware, cranking out 1,000+ tokens per second and marking the company's first AI product powered by chips beyond its Nvidia stack. Spark trades intelligence for speed, trailing the full 5.3-Codex on SWE-Bench Pro and Terminal-Bench but finishing tasks in a fraction of the time.

Anthropic is putting $20M into the 2026 midterm elections by donating to Public First Action, a bipartisan group supporting candidates who back AI regulation. The move puts Anthropic in direct opposition to rivals like OpenAI, whose executives have backed groups opposing stricter AI rules.

Google just released a major update to its Gemini 3 Deep Think reasoning mode, posting dominant scores across math, coding, and science — while also introducing its Olympiad-level math research agent driven by the new upgrade. Deep Think hit 84.6% on ARC-AGI-2, obliterating Opus 4.6 (68.8%) and GPT-5.2 (52.9%), and set a new high of 48.4% on Humanity's Last Exam.

Spotify says some of its most senior engineers have stopped writing code entirely, leaning on an internal AI system called Honk. The tool lets engineers request bug fixes or new features through chat, then receive production-ready builds in real time. Spotify credits this setup for shipping over 50 product updates in 2025, including AI playlists and audiobook discovery features, all while improving internal model training using unique music data.

Waymo has begun using its sixth-generation driverless system to provide robotaxi rides to employees. The system uses more cost-effective parts and should be able to navigate through harsher weather conditions than previous generations. It will serve as the primary engine for Waymo's next era of expansion.

How to Connect NotebookLM to Gemini

  1. Go to the Gemini website or open the Gemini mobile app on your device and click the + icon in the message box.

  2. Select NotebookLM.

  3. Choose the notebooks you want to include and add them to the conversation.

  4. Now you can ask questions that pull context from all selected notebooks at the same time.

This workflow lets you keep notebooks organized and focused while Gemini handles the cross-referencing. Older notes become easier to reuse, scattered information connects naturally, and you can export the conversation to a document whenever needed.

Note: The feature is available to all Google Workspace customers, Workspace Individual subscribers, and users with personal Google accounts.
