GLM-5.2 is Z.ai's newest open model, and it's a big one: 744 billion parameters, MIT licensed, with a 1M token context window (think: entire codebases at once). The catch? The full model weighs 1.51TB. Nobody has that lying around. Unsloth's fix: quantization. That means shrinking the model by storing numbers less precisely, like compressing a photo. The 2-bit version drops to 238GB, retaining ~82% accuracy. Important layers stay at higher precision so quality doesn't collapse.

You Can’t Lead If You’re Stuck in the Middle

Most business owners don’t notice when it happens.

They start as the operator… and slowly become the center of everything.

The real risk isn’t being busy. It’s being required for everything.

BELAY’s new guide From Operator to Owner: How to Exit the Middle Without Losing Control shows you how to step out of day-to-day execution while keeping visibility, quality, and momentum intact.

BELAY matches you with U.S.-based Assistants who bring structure, follow-through, and operational clarity so work keeps moving without you at the center.

In a typical Anatomy of MapReduce job, input files are read from the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS). Data is usually compressed to reduce file sizes. After decompression, serialized bytes are transformed into Java objects before being passed to a user-defined map() function. Conversely, output records are serialized, compressed, and eventually pushed back to HDFS.

Some tasks are easier to show than explain. Record yourself filing an expense or pulling a report on your Mac, and Codex packages the whole demo into a reusable skill it replays with new inputs later.

How do companies like Netflix, Airbnb, and Doordash apply machine learning to improve their products and processes? We put together a database of 200 case studies from 64 companies that share practical ML use cases and learnings from designing ML systems.

Saved ChatGPT workflows typically need a manual push, which makes them tough to trigger from outside systems. By setting up an asynchronous API trigger, you can let those external systems kick off agents automatically and send the results straight to your connected apps.

You'll learn how to build autonomous AI workflows using Claude Code and Codex. This tutorial shows you how to replace manual prompting with automated loops, such as scheduled tasks and goal-driven sub-agents. You will also pick up practical tips for managing token costs and ensuring precise execution.

AI News:

Reports suggest GPT-5.6 could launch as early as next week, bringing improvements in coding, reasoning, agent workflows, and potentially a 1.5 million token context window. OpenAI is also rumored to be lowering prices again.

Google’s losing some high profile talent. Senior research scientist John Jumper is leaving Google DeepMind to join AI startup Anthropic. Jumper’s departure comes just days after Noam Shazeer, VP of Engineering at Google and Co-Lead of its Gemini AI models, said he would leave the company to join IPO-bound OpenAI.

Studios don’t usually dump their own prestige films, so “Artificial” might be juicier than expected. MGM is offloading the Andrew Garfield biopic of Sam Altman’s chaotic 2023 OpenAI firing to other studios.

The keyword search bar is on its way out. Ask Pinterest turns shopping into a conversation, while a new Business Assistant and MCP layer pipe the platform’s taste and intent signals straight into advertisers’ tools.

Due to high costs of conducting generative AI video work internally, Snap is spinning off its internal team into a separate company. The new company, Dotmo, will focus on developing AI models that can create interactive gaming experiences.
